Job Summary : We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Insurance Sales & Business Development Manager to lead sales initiatives, build strong client relationships, and expand our insurance business portfolio. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth through direct sales, channel development, and strategic partnerships while ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales & Revenue Generation

  • Identify, develop, and close new business opportunities for life, health, or general insurance products.
  • Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Conduct client meetings, explain product features and benefits, and provide customized insurance solutions.
  • Maintain strong follow-ups and manage renewals and cross-selling opportunities.

2. Business Development & Strategy

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to increase market share and customer base.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with corporate clients, brokers, and individual customers.
  • Identify new market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to shape sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams for promotional campaigns and lead generation activities.

3. Team Management (if applicable)

  • Recruit, train, and mentor a team of insurance advisors or sales executives.
  • Monitor team performance, set targets, and ensure consistent achievement.
  • Conduct regular sales meetings, performance reviews, and motivational sessions.

4. Client Relationship Management

  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and timely resolution of client queries or complaints.
  • Maintain accurate client records, proposals, and policy documentation.
  • Strengthen client retention through excellent service delivery and relationship management.

5. Reporting & Analysis

  • Track and report sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics to management.
  • Prepare business forecasts and identify growth opportunities.
  • Maintain compliance with IRDAI regulations and company policies.
