About the Role

We are seeking a passionate and creative Content Writing / Copywriting Intern to join the Employer Branding Team at Xiaomi India. This is an exciting opportunity to shape and elevate Xiaomi India’s employer branding initiatives by crafting engaging content and contributing to creative projects. If you have a flair for words, a keen eye for creativity, and an understanding of design basics, we want you on board


Responsibilities

Content Creation :

  • Develop compelling and impactful copy for employer branding campaigns, social media, blogs, newsletters, and internal communication.
  • Write engaging job descriptions, employee spotlights, and event updates that align with Xiaomi’s tone and style.

Social Media Management :

  • Assist in creating captions, hashtags, and storytelling content for platforms like LinkedIn, Instagram, and Twitter.

Creative Collaboration :

  • Work with the creative team to ideate and execute designs, videos, and other marketing collaterals.
  • Contribute ideas for creative campaigns and help in their execution.

Basic Creative Designing :

  • Use design tools (e.g., Canva or Adobe Spark) for quick edits and basic graphic creation as needed.

Market Research :

  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitor strategies, and innovative content formats to keep Xiaomi’s employer branding fresh and impactful.

Project Support :

  • Assist the Employer Branding team in planning and organizing events, campaigns, and initiatives aimed at enhancing Xiaomi India’s brand image.


Qualifications

  • Strong command of English with exceptional writing and editing skills.
  • A creative thinker who can craft unique and engaging content.
  • Basic understanding of design tools like Canva, Adobe Spark, or similar platforms.
  • Interest or experience in content creation, branding, or social media management.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
  • Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, English, or a related field.
