Rolesand Responsibilities 1.Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve sales targets forautomation productsandsolutions.2.Identify and generate leads through various sources such as coldcalling networking and attendingtrade showsand industry events.3. Collaborate withengineering teams to assess customer requirements and proposecustomizedautomationsolutions.5. Prepare and submit salesproposals and quotations ensuring accuracy andcompetitiveness.6. Negotiate and close salesdeals including contract terms andconditions.7. Maintain and nurturerelationships with existing customers providing continuous supportandaddressing any concerns orissues.8. Keep up to date with industrytrends competitors and upcoming technologies to providestrategicinsights and recommendations tocustomers.9. Coordinate with internal teamsto ensure smooth project implementation including productdeliveryinstallation andtraining.10. Collaborate with marketingteams to develop promotional materials and campaigns to enhancebrandvisibility and generate customerinterest.11. Provide postsales technicalsupport and troubleshooting addressing customer inquiriesandresolving any productrelatedissues.12. Develop strong relationships withkey influencers and decisionmakers withincustomerorganizations.13.Gather market intelligence and provide feedback on customerrequirements and trends to theproductdevelopment team.14. Achieve salesobjectives and meet key performance indicators regularly updatingsales forecastsand reporting on salesactivities.15. Maintain accurate customerrecords and sales documentation using CRMsystems.
AutomationSales EngineerRequirements :Requirements forAutomation Sales Engineer Jobs mayinclude:1. Education: Abachelor s degree in engineering preferably inelectrical. 2. TechnicalSkills: Proficiency in automation technologies and systemsincluding PLCs SCADA HMIrobotics sensors andindustrial control systems.3. SalesExperience: Min 3 to 5 years Previousexperience in sales or businessdevelopmentpreferably in the automationindustry is highly desirable. Knowledge of sales techniquesnegotiationskills and a proven track recordof achieving sales targets are essential.4.Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of industrial automationapplications trends andmarketdynamics.5.Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communicationskills to effectively present andexplaintechnical concepts to customers. Ability to establish and maintainrelationships with clientsunderstand theirrequirements and provide tailoredsolutions.6. Problemsolving Skills: Stronganalytical and problemsolving abilities to identify customersneedschallenges and pain points and proposeeffective automation solutions.7.CustomerFocused Approach: Ability to create and sustain longtermcustomer relationships byprovidingexceptional service addressing their concerns and offering ongoingtechnical support.8.
