Job Summary:

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Sales Executive to join our team and drive the growth of our domestic trucking services. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the road transport industry and a proven ability to generate new business. You will be responsible for acquiring new clients within Jaipur's industrial and commercial sectors who require dependable Full Truck Load (FTL) and Part Truck Load (PTL) transport solutions to destinations across India.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development:
    Identify and target potential clients, including manufacturers, traders, distributors, and industrial units in Jaipur and surrounding areas (Sitapura, VKIA, etc.) who have regular domestic shipping needs.
  • Client Acquisition:
    Actively pursue and onboard new clients through cold calling, field visits, networking, and building a strong sales pipeline.
  • Solution Selling:
    Understand clients' specific logistics requirements and provide competitive and reliable trucking solutions (FTL & PTL).
  • Rate Quotation:
    Provide accurate and timely freight rates to clients for various routes and vehicle types, ensuring competitive positioning in the market.
  • Negotiation & Closing:
    Negotiate freight rates and commercial terms with clients to successfully close deals and secure contracts.
  • Achieve Targets:
    Consistently meet and exceed monthly targets for revenue, client acquisition, and freight volume.
  • Client Relationship Management:
    Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, building strong, long-lasting relationships to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Coordination:
    Liaise effectively with the internal operations and dispatch team to ensure timely vehicle placement, smooth transit, and successful delivery of consignments.
  • Market Analysis:
    Keep abreast of trucking market trends, competitor activities, and fluctuations in freight rates on our key routes.

Qualifications and Skills:

Required:

  • 1-3 years of proven experience in a direct sales or business development role.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • A results-oriented mindset with a strong drive to achieve and exceed sales targets.
  • Proficiency in basic computer skills (MS Office, Email).
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a two-wheeler for local travel.

Highly Preferred:

  • Direct sales experience in the road transport, trucking, or surface logistics industry is a major advantage.
  • A strong, existing network of contacts within Jaipur's industrial and manufacturing sectors.
  • Good understanding of FTL (Full Truck Load) and PTL (Part Truck Load) operations, market freight rates, and different truck types.
  • Familiarity with the major transport routes and hubs connecting Jaipur to Maharashtra, Gujarat, Delhi, and Madhya Pradesh.
