Everybody is empowered to work with a high level of autonomy and ownership to deliver the best possible player experience.What You Will Do Manage the creative direction of a game throughout its development and lifecycle Pitch innovative game features designed to improve customer acquisition, engagement, and/or monetization, ensuring they remain fun Collaborate with engineering and art teams to effectively implement new features and systems Design and balance game systems, including combat, economy, progression, and mechanics Generate clear feature documentation, diagrams, wireframes, and/or prototypes Analyze live data and player feedback to continually optimize the existing game experience Assist in writing game editorial content, including fiction, descriptions, and tutorials Stay current on industry trends, including new game genres and designs Mentor and guide junior game designers in their career paths Provide feedback to development, art, sound, and UI teams on content implementation What We’re Looking For 5+ years of game design experience on one or more shipped products Experience working with a live game that is at least 3-4 years old Ability to analyze and deconstruct gameplay mechanics and feature designs Experience and interest in player-driven economies Understanding of game balance, including statistics, virtual goods, economics, and user motivations Should have experience designing or giving requirements for tools that help with productivity and/or prototyping Knowledge of interaction design concepts and principles Ability to excel in an agile team environment Outstanding written and oral communication skills Experience writing product specifications Passion for playing and making video games Bachelor’s degree required
