Reports to: Restaurant/Café Manager
Job Summary:
As an F&B Service Staff member, you will play a key role in delivering a memorable dining experience for guests. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring customer satisfaction in both the café and specialty restaurant.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service:
Greet guests warmly and guide them to their tables.
Provide menu recommendations and detailed descriptions of food and beverage offerings.
Handle guest inquiries and complaints promptly and professionally.
Order Taking and Serving:
Accurately take food and beverage orders, either manually or via the POS system.
Serve orders efficiently and ensure they are presented according to restaurant standards.
Prepare and serve specialty beverages (e.g., coffee, mocktails, cocktails) as per the café's offerings, if required.
Operations and Hygiene:
Set up and clear tables, ensuring that they are clean and well-maintained.
Maintain cleanliness of the dining and service areas in compliance with food safety and hygiene standards.
Assist in restocking supplies, such as cutlery, napkins, and condiments.
Team Collaboration:
Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure accurate and timely order delivery.
Work collaboratively with colleagues to enhance the overall guest experience.
Attend team meetings and training sessions to stay updated on menu changes and service techniques.
Qualifications and Skills:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent; a hospitality-related degree/certificate is a plus.
Experience: Prior experience in F&B service or a similar role preferred.
Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to handle multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of basic food and beverage terminology.
Barista or beverage service experience (preferred for café settings).
Personal Traits: Friendly, attentive, proactive, and team-oriented.
Working Conditions:
Rotational Shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
May require lifting light to moderate weights (e.g., trays, equipment).
