Job Summary:The Partner Development Manager at GSPANN is responsible for identifying, developing, and managing partnerships across varying priorities of strategic importance. This role requires an adept understanding of the technology industry, excellent relationship management skills, and a strong acumen for strategic planning and execution in high-stakes environments.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner Identification and Qualification:Collaborate with internal practice teams to identify and qualify potential high-, medium-, and low-priority partners based on strategic goals.Maintain a dynamic list of potential partners and continuously evaluate their potential to meet GSPANN's strategic needs.
Initial Engagement and Onboarding:Initiate contact with potential partners through direct outreach or partner sign-up forms.Schedule and conduct initial meetings to introduce GSPANN, understand partner capabilities, and discuss potential synergies.Facilitate the review and finalization of partnership agreements with legal support and ensure all parties understand and agree to the terms.
Partner Integration and Management:Coordinate the integration of partners through platforms like Crossbeam or Reveal, ensuring both parties can identify and leverage mutual account opportunities.Establish a regular cadence of partner meetings to ensure alignment and address emerging issues.Manage ongoing partner relationship activities, including joint marketing, sales alignment, and training initiatives.
Strategic Initiatives and Joint Marketing:Collaborate with partner managers to develop and execute joint go-to-market (GTM) strategies and marketing activities.Track and review the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and sales initiatives, providing detailed reports to internal and external stakeholders.Coordinate GSPANN platform certification processes and ensure the sales and technical teams are adequately trained on partner technologies.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:Monitor the performance of partnership initiatives against defined metrics and goals.Provide regular updates to the VP of Business Development and other stakeholders on partnership achievements, challenges, and opportunities for improvement.
Required Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Technology, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of experience in partner development or alliance management within the technology sector.Proven track record of successfully managing strategic partnerships and achieving business growth.Strong negotiation skills and the ability to handle complex agreements.Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Desired Skills:Strategic thinking with the ability to execute tactically.Exceptional command of American English with strong verbal communication skills.Proficient in using CRM software and partner management platforms like Crossbeam or Reveal.Ability to leverage tools like ChatGPT for efficient content creation.Strong skills in creating and delivering compelling presentations to various audiences.
