India Focus Edumatics Pvt Ltd Full time

We are seeking a newly qualified Chartered Accountant to join our finance team in a key role handling statutory compliance, financial reporting, and treasury operations. As a Finance Associate, you will be responsible for managing regulatory requirements, financial analysis, and banking relationships while working closely with the parent company. This role offers excellent exposure to the end-to-end finance operations of a multinational subsidiary, providing opportunities for professional growth and development in corporate finance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Statutory Compliance & Reporting
  • Managing GST compliance and filing returns & refunds.
  • Handling TDS compliance, filing, and reconciliation
  • Preparing and filing corporate tax returns
  • Coordinating with external auditors for statutory audits
  • Managing regulatory compliance with RBI/MCA

  • Financial Reporting
  • Preparing monthly MIS reports for the parent company
  • Financial statements preparation and analysis
  • Variance analysis and commentary
  • Supporting the annual budgeting process

  • Banking & Treasury
  • Managing forex transactions
  • Bank reconciliation supervision
  • Monitoring cash flow and working capital
  • Liaison with banks for day-to-day operations

QUALIFICATIONS

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCE

Education and Certification:

  • A newly qualified Certified Chartered Accountant with a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required.
  • A strong academic record.

Experience:

  • 1-3 years of experience in Finance.
  • Experience working in small to mid-sized companies and executive leadership in a multicultural environment.
  • Strong working knowledge and proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Knowledge of accounting software (NetSuite preferred)
  • Basic understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and financial reporting.
  • Good understanding of financial controls and compliance with financial regulations and tax laws.
  • Excellent numerical and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of taxation and statutory compliance would be a plus.
