Head of Finance/ CFO

Job Title: Head of Finance/ CFO Location: Gurgaon Reports To: Managing Director Department: Finance About the Company: We are a medical equipment manufacturing company found on 2005 and headquarted in Gurgaon. Role Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Head of Finance/ CFO to lead our finance team and oversee all financial operations within the organization. As the Head of Finance/ CFO, you will be responsible for the financial health of the company, providing strategic guidance on financial decisions, managing financial planning and analysis, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will work closely with senior leadership to align financial objectives with the overall business strategy. Key Responsibilities: (i) Financial Strategy and Leadership:- Develop and execute the financial strategy to support the company s business goals and growth plans. Lead financial planning, forecasting, and budgeting processes to ensure alignment with strategic objectives. Provide strategic recommendations to the executive team on long-term financial goals and growth opportunities. (ii) Financial Operations and Management:- Oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, cash flow management, and financial systems. Manage the finance department, ensuring the team is well-structured, motivated, and effective. Ensure timely and accurate preparation of financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. (iii) Financial Reporting and Analysis:- Lead the preparation and presentation of financial reports to the executive team, board of directors, and stakeholders. Conduct financial analysis to assess business performance, identify areas for improvement, and make data-driven decisions. Provide regular financial forecasting and reporting to track key performance indicators (KPIs). (iv) Risk Management and Compliance:- Develop and implement financial policies and controls to mitigate risks and ensure financial compliance with regulations and laws. Ensure that all financial activities comply with local and international accounting standards, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements. Liaise with external auditors, regulators, and tax advisors to ensure transparency and regulatory adherence. (v) Capital Management and Investment:- Oversee capital allocation and investment strategies to optimize return on investment (ROI) and support business expansion. Evaluate funding options and manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions. Lead financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic partnerships. (vi) Team Development:- Lead, mentor, and develop the finance team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture. Identify skill gaps and implement training and development programs to strengthen the team s capabilities. (vii) Stakeholder Management:- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including investors, auditors, financial analysts, and other departments. Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on all financial matters, providing insights to drive business success. Qualifications: Education: - Qualified Chartered Accountant Experience:- Minimum 15 years into finance. Preferably from Medical Equipment manufacturing industry. Proven experience in financial planning, analysis, reporting, and strategic financial management. Strong understanding of financial systems, accounting principles, and regulatory frameworks. Experience with financial modeling, capital allocation, and investment strategies.
