Chief Technology Officer

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to join our executive team. The CTO will be responsible for overseeing all technical aspects of the company, leading our engineering teams, and ensuring the successful execution of our technology roadmap. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of AI, IoT, and software development, as well as a proven track record in scaling technology startups.


Key Responsibilities:


Technology Strategy and Vision:


Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business goals.

Lead the innovation and development of our smart AC software platform, incorporating AI and advanced analytics.

Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our solution remains cutting-edge.


Product Development and Management:


Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from ideation to deployment.

Collaborate with product management and marketing teams to define product requirements and roadmaps.

Ensure the delivery of high-quality, scalable, and reliable software products.

Team Leadership and Management:


Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing engineering team.

Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Implement best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.

Technical Operations and Infrastructure:


Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of the company’s technical infrastructure.

Oversee cloud infrastructure, data management, and cybersecurity measures.

Implement robust monitoring and incident management processes.

Collaboration and Stakeholder Management:


Work closely with the CEO and executive team to align technology initiatives with business objectives.

Communicate technology strategy and progress to stakeholders, including investors and clients.

Represent the company at industry events and conferences.


Qualifications:


Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience (10+ years) in a senior technical leadership role, preferably as a CTO or VP of Engineering.

Strong background in software development, with expertise in AI, machine learning, and IoT technologies.

Demonstrated success in scaling technology startups and leading engineering teams.

In-depth knowledge of cloud computing, data analytics, and cybersecurity.

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and problem-solving.

Experience in the HVAC or smart home industry is a plus.
