Our client is cutting-edge fintech company specialising in providing comprehensive solutions for Retail Forex Brokers, including CRM, Client Portal, IB Management, Managed Accounts, PAMM/MAM, and Social Trading. We are embarking on an ambitious project to create a platform akin to Shopify, but specifically tailored for financial institutions. Our goal is to revolutionise the way financial services are delivered and managed, empowering institutions with seamless, scalable, and innovative technological solutions.

Job Type: Full-Time

Role Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy and execution. The CTO will play a critical role in defining and driving our technological vision, ensuring the successful development and deployment of our innovative platform for financial institutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in fintech, exceptional leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing and scaling technology teams.

Key Responsibilities:


• Strategic Planning and Leadership:


• Develop and implement a comprehensive technology strategy aligned with the company's business objectives.


• Provide leadership and guidance to the technology team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.


• Work closely with the executive team to define and prioritise the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with market needs and business goals.


•Product Development:


•Oversee the end-to-end development and delivery of our new platform for financial institutions.


•Ensure the platform is scalable, secure, and reliable, meeting the highest industry standards.


•Drive continuous improvement and innovation in product features, user experience, and performance.


•Team Management:


•Build and mentor a high-performing technology team, attracting top talent and nurturing their professional growth.


•Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages creativity and knowledge sharing.


•Establish clear goals, performance metrics, and development plans for the technology team.


•Technology Operations:


•Oversee the implementation and maintenance of robust technology infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance and uptime.


•Implement best practices for software development, quality assurance, and project management.


•Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.


•Stakeholder Engagement:


•Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.


•Present technology initiatives and progress to the executive team, board of directors, and other key stakeholders.


•Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:


•Education:


•Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.


•Experience: Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within the fintech industry.


•Strong background in developing and managing large-scale, complex technology projects.


•Experience with financial services platforms, particularly in areas such as CRM, Client Portal, IB Management, Managed Accounts, PAMM/MAM, and Social Trading.


•Technical Skills:


•Deep understanding of modern software development methodologies, cloud computing, and cybersecurity.


•Proficiency in programming languages and technologies relevant to fintech platforms.


•Strong knowledge of database management, APIs, and system integration.


•Leadership and Management:


•Exceptional leadership and team management skills, with a track record of building and leading high-performing technology teams.


•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
