We are looking for a dynamic SRE Project Manager to manage and support a critically important application built on React JS, hosting Power BI Reports, with underlying data models in Snowflake. The data pipeline is orchestrated through Databricks on Azure Data Factory (ADF).

Responsibilities :

- As an SRE PM (Site Reliability Engineering Project Manager), you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and services.

- He/ She will lead a team of SREs (Site Reliability Engineers) and collaborate closely with development teams to build and maintain highly available and resilient systems.

- Your focus will be on driving operational excellence, implementing best practices, and continuously improving the reliability and performance of our infrastructure and applications.

- Manage the project and complete within scope, time and budget.

- Set team goals, define priorities, and ensure the successful execution of projects and initiatives.

- Foster a culture of collaboration, learning, and continuous improvement within the SRE team.

- Design, implement, and maintain robust and scalable systems and infrastructure.

- Monitor and analyse system performance, identifying bottlenecks and areas for optimization.

- Implement and enforce best practices for system monitoring, alerting, and incident response.

- Lead incident response and resolution efforts, ensuring timely and effective incident management.

- Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.


- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve system-wide issues and improve overall system reliability.

- Drive automation efforts to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.

- Develop and maintain tooling and frameworks to support monitoring, deployment, and configuration management.

- Collaborate on release management and deployment strategies to minimize downtime and improve release processes.

- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging technologies, and trends in Site Reliability Engineering.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to enhance system performance, reliability, and efficiency.

- Drive a culture of continuous improvement, learning, and knowledge sharing within the SRE team and across the organization.

Core Responsibilities :

- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, operations, and business stakeholders to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact users.

- Lead and motivate your project team from both internal and client stakeholders to implement the projects.

- Identify, communicate, and manage risks to ensure delivery is on time.

- Ensure adherence to defined processes and tailor them as required for project success.

- Optimising the costs by taking a pragmatic approach to various delivery models (onsite-offshore, onsite only, or offshore primarily).

Communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders with the appropriate level of detail to influence project progress.

- Driving presentations and meetings with clients and internal teams on project status, risks, opportunities, etc.

- Communicate effectively with business users, stakeholders, and leadership regarding incidents, outages, and ongoing maintenance activities.

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our application and infrastructure.

Requirements :

- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field. Master's degree preferred.

- 5+ years of experience in a technical support lead or SRE Lead role, with a strong background in supporting web applications, data pipelines, and cloud-based infrastructure.

- Extensive experience with React JS, Power BI, Snowflake, Databricks, and Azure Data Factory (ADF) or similar technologies.

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to quickly diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

- Proven track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives and implementing best practices to enhance system reliability and performance.

- Experience working in an Agile environment and familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.

- Certifications such as PMP, Prince2, Scrum Master or in Agile Project Management is plus.
