About This Role

We are looking for a talented engineer to join our team as a Digital Commerce Platform Engineer.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating web applications using Ruby on Rails with strong knowledge of Rails-related tools and practices like RSpec, TDD/BDD.

Key Responsibilities
  • Create web applications using Ruby on Rails.
  • Implement strong knowledge of Rails-related tools and practices like RSpec, TDD/BDD.
  • Develop a good understanding of HTTP and how the web works.
  • Design database schema, indexing, query optimisation, and proficiency in MVC design pattern.
  • Familiarity with automated deployment, monitoring, and performance analysis.
  • Desirable skills: hands-on DevOps experience, cloud and server infrastructure (AWS in particular), and knowledge of cloud and server infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in ROR development with the above-mentioned responsibilities.
  • Educational background in Computer Science.
