About the job We are looking for a skilled Ruby on Rails Developer to join our dynamic team and help us build robust and scalable web applications. As a Ruby on Rails Developer, you will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining various components of our Rails applications while adhering to best practices and industry standards. Job Title : Ruby on Rails Developer (ROR) Experience : 7 to 12 years Location : Bangalore, Pune, Mumbai Notice Period: Immediate to 15 days Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain RoR applications with optimized Active Record queries. Manage dependencies using Bundler and integrate third-party libraries. Implement background jobs with Sidekiq and enhance performance with caching (Redis, Memcached). Handle concurrency and distributed databases with Makara. Manage database migrations, seeding, and schema updates. Utilize ERB, Partials, and MVC components for modular development. Implement error tracking (HoneyBadger) and unit testing (RSpec). Work with Rails Routes, Serialization, and automation using Rake. Optimize performance using memoization and metaprogramming. Ensure best practices with Rails conventions and ORM principles. Requirement Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience). Proven experience as a Ruby on Rails Developer with a strong portfolio of projects. Strong knowledge of Bundler, Active Record, Sidekiq, Redis, memcached, metaprogramming, and design patterns. Familiarity with Rails conventions, version management, unit testing, and distributed databases. Excellent problem-solving skills, accountability, and ability to work both independently and in a team.
