As a Ruby on Rails Developer at CoffeeBeans, you will play a crucial role in building and maintaining our software applications. You will work closely with our development team to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions that meet our product requirements. 
What will you do?
  • Utilize your professional software development experience to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code in Ruby on Rails
  • Ensure the code you write is defect-free and meets our product requirements
  • Experience working in a TDD (test-driven development) environment
  • Demonstrate strong debugging skills to identify and resolve issues promptly
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement new features and enhancements
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of CI/CD pipelines using tools like Github Actions
  • Operate with minimal technical guidance, demonstrating your ability to take ownership of projects and deliver results
What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • Proven professional software development experience with Ruby on Rails
  • Deep understanding of software development best practices and design patterns
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Github
  • Exceptional problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
  • Strong communication skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
