Role:
Business Systems Analyst (On-site, Gurugram)

We are seeking a Business Systems Analyst to join our team in Gurugram (full-time, on-site).

This role goes beyond traditional business analysis. You'll serve as the critical link between business stakeholders and engineering teams — gathering requirements, designing solutions, and contributing technically to ensure systems are secure, efficient, and aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with stakeholders to analyze business processes, goals, and challenges; translate them into actionable technical requirements.

Collaborate with developers and architects to design workflows, data models, and API integrations.

Draft functional and technical specifications, user stories, use cases, and acceptance criteria.

Develop prototypes or proof-of-concepts to validate ideas and solutions.

Leverage data analysis to provide insights, reports, and dashboards for decision-making.

Participate in testing, defect triage, and ensure systems are robust, scalable, and secure.

Support cross-functional teams and mentor junior analysts when needed.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or related field.
  • Proven experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Systems Analyst, or hybrid BA/Developer role.
  • Exceptional communication skills.
  • Proficiency in coding, hands-on skills in Python and Java (writing, debugging, optimizing code).
  • Advanced Excel skills (data analysis, pivot tables, formulas; macros a plus).
  • Strong SQL knowledge and comfort with databases and data modeling.
  • Understanding of system architecture, APIs, workflows, and integrations.
  • Excellent communication skills, able to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience with Agile / Scrum methodologies.

Nice-to-Have:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Familiarity with version control and CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, etc.).

Exposure to BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI).

Understanding of front-end (HTML, CSS, JS) or back-end frameworks.
