Job Summary:We are seeking an experienced Data Engineer with strong expertise in Snowflake, Azure Data Services, and PySpark. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize large-scale data pipelines and analytics solutions on the Azure cloud platform, ensuring high performance, scalability, and reliability.Key Responsibilities:- Design and implement scalable data pipelines and ETL processes using Azure Data Factory (ADF), PySpark, and Snowflake.- Develop and maintain data models, schemas, and data marts in Snowflake.- Optimize SQL queries and Snowflake performance for efficient data processing.- Integrate structured and unstructured data from multiple sources into a unified data platform.- Collaborate with business analysts, data scientists, and stakeholders to define data requirements.- Implement data quality, data governance, and security best practices.- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data workflows for performance and cost efficiency.- Automate data ingestion and transformation processes using Azure services.- Stay updated with the latest technologies in cloud data engineering and analytics.Required Skills & Qualifications:- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.- 5–16 years of hands-on experience in Data Engineering or related roles.- Strong expertise in Snowflake (data modeling, query optimization, and performance tuning).- Solid experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF), Azure Databricks, and Azure Synapse.- Proficient in PySpark and Python for data transformation.- Strong SQL programming and data analysis skills.- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and version control (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps).- Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in Azure.- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Nice to Have:- Experience with Power BI, Azure Synapse Analytics, or Data Lake Storage (ADLS).- Exposure to DevOps, Terraform, or Infrastructure as Code (IaC).- Knowledge of machine learning pipelines or real-time data processing.- Snowflake or Azure certifications.
