One of our clients is looking for an experienced Senior Snowflake Data Engineer to join their team.Key Responsibilities:- We are seeking a Senior Data Engineer with 8+ years of experience in end-to-end data engineering and Snowflake development.- Expert in Snowflake native features: Snow pipe, Streams, Tasks, Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Secure Data Sharing.- Skilled in designing scalable ELT pipelines, advanced SQL/Python development, and dimensional data modeling (star/snowflake).- Experienced in analyzing file formats (Parquet, ORC, Avro, JSON, CSV) and recommending performance/storage best practices.- Strong in cost/performance optimization, handling semi-structured data, and compute/storage tuning in Snowflake.- Azure cloud experience is preferred, along with integration using DBT, Airflow, and other modern data tools.- Hands-on experience with Streamlit, familiarity with Snowflake Container Services is a strong plus.- Knowledge of Snowflake security best practices including RBAC, data masking, access control, and data encryption.- Experience with monitoring Snowflake performance using Resource Monitors, Query Profiling, and usage analytics.- Snowflake and Azure certifications are preferred (not mandatory); must excel in architecture, debugging, and data strategy
