Job Description Prophecy Technologies is hiring a highly experiencedAzure Data Engineer / Snowflake Architectto work on a major engagement with our client, HCL. This is a full-time role with Prophecy Technologies, offering the opportunity to design and build scalable cloud data platforms using Azure and Snowflake. Key Responsibilities Lead architecture, design, and implementation of end-to-end data platforms onAzure + Snowflake . Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines usingADF, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS . Architect Snowflake objects (warehouses, schemas, roles), optimize queries, clustering, micro-partitioning. Manage Snowflake migrations, performance tuning, data security, and governance. Implement CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps / GitHub Actions). Collaborate with stakeholders, prepare architecture documentation, and support production. Mentor junior engineers and enforce best practices. Required Skills 10+ years in data engineering / cloud data architecture. Strong expertise inSnowflake(DDL, ETL/ELT, Time Travel, Streams/Tasks, RBAC). Hands-on experience withAzure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse, ADLS/Blob . Strong SQL and experience with Spark/PySpark. Knowledge of CI/CD, automation, Terraform/ARM templates. Strong knowledge of data modeling and data governance. Excellent communication and client-facing skills. Good to Have Snowflake or Azure certifications. Experience with dbt / Fivetran / Matillion. Experience integrating with Power BI or Tableau. Education Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field.
