Responsibilities & Duties:

· Lead the identification of suitable sites for renewable energy projects, with a focus on wind and solar parks.

·Conduct feasibility studies and site assessments to evaluate the suitability of potential locations.

·Develop and implement strategies for acquiring land for project development.

·Negotiate land agreements and leases with landowners.

·Ensure compliance with legal requirements and regulations related to land acquisition.

·Manage the process of obtaining necessary permits and approvals for project development.

· Liaise with regulatory authorities and local government agencies to facilitate the permitting process.

·Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and other applicable laws.

·Stay abreast of relevant laws, regulations, and policies impacting project development in the renewable energy sector.

·Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

·Work closely with legal counsel to address legal issues and mitigate risks.

·Oversee the overall project development process, from initial site identification to project commissioning.

·Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project milestones.

·Monitor project progress and identify potential risks or challenges, implementing mitigation strategies as needed.

·Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including landowners, government officials, community members, and project partners.

·Collaborate with stakeholders to address concerns, resolve conflicts, and foster positive relationships.

·Provide leadership and guidance to the project development team.

·Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

· Ensure effective communication and collaboration within the team and across departments.
