Job Title: Operations Customer Expert II Location: Chennai Employment Type: Full Time (On-site) Department: Finance / Accounts Receivable About the RoleWe are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive O2C Collections Specialist to join our Finance team. This role is critical in managing the end-to-end collections process, ensuring timely receipt of customer payments, and maintaining healthy cash flow. You’ll be the key liaison between internal teams and external customers, driving resolution of outstanding balances while maintaining strong relationships.Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor and manage accounts receivable portfolio to ensure timely collectionsContact customers via phone, email, and other channels to follow up on overdue invoicesInvestigate and resolve payment discrepancies, disputes, and deductionsCollaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and Billing teams to resolve issues impacting collectionsMaintain accurate records of collection activities and customer communicationsPrepare aging reports and provide regular updates to managementSupport month-end closing activities and audit requirementsRecommend accounts for escalation or write-off based on risk assessmentEnsure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirementsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field1+ years of experience in O2C, collections, or accounts receivableExperience working with US process and US shiftsStrong communication and negotiation skillsProficiency in ERP systems (e.g., Oracle, HighRadius) and MS ExcelAbility to work independently and manage multiple prioritiesAttention to detail and strong analytical skillsFamiliarity with credit risk assessment and cash application processes is a plusImmediate joining is preferred
