Primary Responsibilities:
Project Management, Strategic Planning and Monitoring: Work with senior management in strategic planning and oversight of project deliverables, including financial and human resource projections. Routinely track the progress of projects through regular meetings and ensure timely and efficient completion of key activities and organizational accountabilities.
Grant Proposal Development & Donor Engagement: Co-develop grant proposals with teams to secure funding, aligning them with organizational objectives. Effectively communicate the organization's mission, progress, and impact to funders and donors.
Operations Management: Collaborate with the Accounts and Human Resource teams to manage budgetary allocations, human resource management, and contractual aspects.
Learning & Development: Coordinate and manage internal and external learning events, workshops, and training sessions. Ensure these initiatives are aligned with the organization’s strategic goals and process improvement efforts.
Stakeholder & Visitor Engagement: Facilitate communication with external stakeholders, including board members, peers, and partners. Work closely with project teams to design and implement workshops, roundtables, seminars, etc. Represent the organization to visitors, providing comprehensive insights into projects and organizational impact.
Reporting & Communication: Lead/ support the preparation of the organization's documentation and compliance reports, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of clarity, precision, and stakeholder alignment.
Required Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of 10-12 years relevant experience, with proven expertise in project management, Monitoring and evaluation, and proposal development, preferably in the digital rights domain.
Expertise in NGO Administration: Building/Improving and executing internal systems for well-oiled administration and governance, including contracts and funding mechanisms.
Organizational & Process Skills: Exceptional organizational, facilitation, and time management skills, with a proven track record of leading complex processes to achieve high-impact outcomes. Commitment to feminist principles is essential.
Process Documentation & Compliance: Extensive experience in process documentation, project tracking, and legal compliance within an organizational context.
Communication Skills: High proficiency in both spoken and written English, with a proven ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and external stakeholder groups.
Educational Background: A master’s degree or higher in Management, Development Studies, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Desirable Qualifications:
Language Proficiency: Oral and written fluency in Kannada.
Digital Rights: Understanding of the digital rights domain.
Global partnerships: Prior experience coordinating international networks
