Role Title: Site Engineer- Waterproofing


Lead and oversee all aspects of waterproofing activities at the assigned site, ensuring adherence to quality standards, regulatory compliance, efficient budget management and seamless coordination with the central Subject Matter Expert at the Head Office.

Areas of Accountability:

Project Planning and Execution:

· Develop comprehensive plans for waterproofing activities at the assigned site.

· Ensure effective execution of waterproofing projects in accordance with project timelines.

· Oversee the waterproofing works being executed according to TE standards and guidelines.


Quality Assurance:

· Make the structures watertight.

· Enforce quality control measures as per guidelines to ensure that the highest standards of waterproofing are achieved in accordance with TE standards.

· Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and address any deviations from established waterproofing standards.

· Collaborate with the central Waterproofing Subject Matter Expert (SME) to uphold industry best practices.


Regulatory Compliance:

· Collaborate with the central SME to update procedures in response to changes in regulations.


Risk Management:

· Implement safety measures to protect workers and minimize environmental impact.

· Report any incidents, deviations, or near misses promptly to the central SME.


Reporting and Documentation:

· Maintain accurate records of all waterproofing activities, including MIR, checklists, and test reports.

· Prepare regular progress reports for the central SME and other stakeholders.


Communication and Coordination:

· Foster effective communication with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders.

· Collaborate with other departments and project managers to ensure that waterproofing activities are integrated seamlessly.

· Report any challenges promptly to the central SME and seek guidance as needed.


Deliverable:

· Following the systematic work procedure as defined.

· Maintaining the checklist and other quality formats as required, starting from receiving materials to completing the work.

· Making proper planning of manpower and materials

· Prepare a proper progress report for the site.

· Coordinating with other trade team members on the site to ensure smooth functioning.

· Keeping stock of materials, instruments, and machinery.

· Ensure that safety protocols are adhered to.
