Gravity Homes is seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing site execution, particularly in residential projects and layout management. This role requires a high degree of technical expertise, project management skills, and a commitment to ensuring the successful completion of our construction projects.

The Role

Site Execution :

  • Oversee the execution of construction projects from the initial planning stages to project completion.
  • Ensure adherence to project specifications, quality standards, and timelines.
  • Supervise and coordinate construction activities, including civil work, structural work, and interior finishes.

Residential Projects :

  • Manage and monitor residential construction projects, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely project delivery.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to meet project goals.
  • Resolve construction-related issues to maintain project progress and quality.

Layout Management :

  • Plan and manage the layout of construction sites, including earthworks, utilities, and access roads.
  • Ensure compliance with layout design and specifications.
  • Coordinate with surveyors and designers to make necessary adjustments.

Quality Control :

  • Implement and maintain quality control processes to ensure workmanship and materials meet industry standards.
  • Conduct regular inspections and testing to identify and address quality issues.

Safety and Compliance :

  • Enforce safety protocols and ensure that construction activities comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Address and report any safety violations or incidents promptly.

Documentation :

  • Maintain accurate project records, including drawings, reports, and documentation of project progress.
  • Prepare and submit regular progress reports to the project management team.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
  • 2-4 years of experience in site engineering and construction, with a focus on residential projects.
  • Knowledge of construction processes, layout design, and quality control.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.


Ideal Profile
