Position Overview :

As a Senior Site Reliability Engineer with 5-8 years of experience, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure.

You will leverage your expertise in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to implement best practices and methodologies, effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues, and optimize our systems for efficiency and reliability.

The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills in system administration, infrastructure management, cloud platforms, and containerization technologies, along with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.

Key Responsibilities :

System Reliability and Performance :

- Lead efforts to enhance the reliability, scalability, and performance of our systems and infrastructure.

- Implement best practices and methodologies of Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) to ensure system availability and resilience.

Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution :

- Utilize your proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues to quickly identify and resolve system failures and performance bottlenecks.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement effective solutions and preventive measures.

Automation and Tooling :

- Leverage automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins to streamline system administration tasks and infrastructure management processes.

- Implement and maintain monitoring tools to proactively identify and address potential issues before they impact system reliability.

Infrastructure Management :

- Manage and optimize infrastructure resources across cloud platforms, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability.

- Implement containerization technologies to enhance deployment efficiency and resource utilization.

Continuous Improvement :

- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system reliability, performance, and efficiency.

- Proactively identify areas for enhancement and implement solutions to address them.

Key Technical Skills :

- Strong knowledge and experience in Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and practices.

- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.

- Experience with automation tools such as Ansible and Jenkins for system administration and infrastructure management.

- Expertise in monitoring tools for proactive system health monitoring and alerting.

- Strong understanding of system administration and infrastructure management principles.

- Experience working with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g, Docker, Kubernetes).

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Relevant certifications in Site Reliability Engineering or related fields are a plus.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

- 5-8 years of relevant experience in Site Reliability Engineering or related roles.

- Proven track record of effectively managing and optimizing systems and infrastructure.

- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a cross-functional team environment.

- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic environment, with a strong focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
