Designation : Senior ML Engineer

Location : Hyderabad, India

Work Mode : Office

Reporting to : Lead Data Scientist

Responsibilities :

  • Design robust and scalable machine learning systems to address business needs
  • Working with both structured and unstructured data (images, text, video, audio)
  • Developing AI and ML models. Researching on new AI and ML techniques
  • Experience of working with Transformers (BERT, RoBERTa), CNN, LSTM, XGBoost, GPT, YOLO etc.
  • Working on pattern recognition, knowledge graph, classification, and regression techniques
  • Document Machine Learning Processes detailing the data gathering, transformation, model training, and deployment
  • Develop ETL pipelines using SQL, Data Warehousing, and Data version control.
  • Experiment with different algorithms, hyperparameters, and preprocessing techniques to achieve the desired level of accuracy and efficiency
  • Conduct hypothesis testing, regression analysis, and other statistical techniques to validate assumptions, assess model performance, and interpret results
  • Design and execute comprehensive tests to evaluate models' performance, robustness, and reliability.
  • Identify data patterns, trends, and anomalies and use this information to inform model development and decision-making processes.
  • Establish crucial performance metrics, including accuracy, precision, recall, and F1 score, to gauge model effectiveness and identify any irregularities or anomalies.
  • Analyze model outputs, user feedback, and performance metrics to identify areas for model improvement.
  • Establish working pipelines using containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud services (AWS)
  • Understanding of MLOps concepts and exploration of the MLOps tools like MLFlow, KubeFlow, etc.
Qualifications :
  • Looking for a minimum of 3-6 Years of hands-on experience in data science.
  • Strong understanding of machine learning algorithms & principles (regression analysis, time series, probabilistic models, supervised classification, and unsupervised learning), and their application.
  • Strong experience in NLP and BERT, LLM family models
  • Familiarity with Deep Learning frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch (strong experience in at least one).
  • Excellent programming skills in prototyping languages such as Python and R.
  • Experience with Java and Scala is a plus.
  • Good experience using SQL
  • Experience building ML/DL models at scale
  • Experience building APIs using any one of Flask, Django, and/or FastAPI
  • Proficient with Git
  • Experience working with Docker / Kubernetes
  • Knowledge of software engineering principles and best practices, including version control, code optimization, modular design, and testing methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Web Application Development (Good to have)
  • PySpark and Big Data technologies (Good to have)
  • Most importantly, a can-do attitude and desire to make a difference is an absolute must.
  • Experience working with cloud services (AWS)
Education : Bachelors or Master's in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Statistics, or equivalent fields

Technical Interview 2 : You will have a technical discussion with the panel to evaluate your technical skills and problem-solving abilities.

On-Site Interview- : Depending on the circumstances, an on-site interview might be conducted further to assess your fit for the role and team culture. (For Candidates based in Hyderabad)

Final Interview : A final interview with senior leadership to discuss your background, accomplishments, and alignment with Foundation AI's goals and values.

Offer : Successful candidates will receive a formal proposal outlining compensation, benefits, and other details.
