Role Summary:The

Senior Manager – Business Development & Strategy

will drive business growth by identifying and developing new market opportunities, therapies, and products that complement the company’s current portfolio. This role involves leading go-to-market (GTM) planning, managing tech transfer projects, and building a robust pipeline for the diabetic range. The individual will work on in-licensing and out-licensing, collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure successful execution. Strong project management and strategic acumen are critical for success.

Key Responsibilities:1. Exploring New Markets and Strategic Expansion:Identify and evaluate opportunities to expand the presence of biotech and diabetic products in new markets.Conduct market research to support entry strategies for emerging regions and assess competitive landscapes.Build partnerships with distributors, healthcare stakeholders, and regulators to facilitate market access.2. Portfolio Expansion and Pipeline Development:Identify new therapies and products that are complementary to the company’s existing portfolio, particularly in the anti-diabetic and biotech space.Conduct market and therapeutic area analyses to identify unmet needs and emerging opportunities.Collaborate with internal teams to integrate new products into the company’s portfolio and strategy.3. Go-to-Market (GTM) Planning:Develop detailed GTM strategies for existing products and upcoming launches, including New Chemical Entities (NCEs).Align GTM plans with market dynamics, including pricing, reimbursement, regulatory requirements, and competitive positioning.Support country-specific product registration and market access efforts.4. In-Licensing and Out-Licensing:Lead the identification and evaluation of in-licensing opportunities for innovative products that enhance the company’s portfolio.Manage out-licensing initiatives to maximize the commercial potential of existing assets.Negotiate term sheets and agreements with potential partners to secure favorable outcomes.5. Tech Transfer and Project Leadership:Lead tech transfer projects for biologics and oral solids, ensuring regulatory compliance and timely execution.Coordinate with internal teams, including R&D, manufacturing, regulatory, and marketing, to drive project success.Monitor project progress, address risks, and deliver milestones on time and within budget.6. Stakeholder Collaboration:Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align business development initiatives with organizational goals.Represent the company at conferences, business meetings, and industry forums to build partnerships and networks.

Qualifications and Experience:Education:

MBA from Tier 1, Tier 2 institute with 5+ years of experience or Masters in Science/Pharmacy with 8+ years of experience8+ years of experience in business development, strategy, or portfolio management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry.Proven expertise in project managementStrong track record in in-licensing, out-licensing, and tech transfer projects.Experience in diabetic and biotech therapeutic areas is preferred.
