We are seeking a passionate and experienced Senior Product Designer to join our dynamic team. We are looking for someone who has a deep drive to understand complex problems, who finds creative ways to learn the users’ needs and experiences, who finds creative and elegant solutions to those problems. We need someone who is organized, proactive, and extremely good in communication. As a Senior Product Designer, you will define and craft the user experience. You’ll be collaborating with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to create intuitive, user-centered designs.

Key Responsibilities: Design Projects : Responsible for the design process from concept to execution, ensuring a seamless and cohesive user experience across multiple touchpoints Collaborate Cross-Functionally : Work closely with product managers, engineers, marketing, and other stakeholders to understand product goals and translate them into effective design solutions User-Centered Design : Conduct user research, testing, and feedback sessions to inform design decisions and ensure a focus on the end user Prototyping : Create interactive prototypes to explore design solutions and communicate ideas to stakeholders. Design Systems : Contribute to and help maintain our design systems to ensure consistency across products Mentorship : Provide guidance and mentorship to associate product designers, fostering a culture of learning and growth within the team Stay Updated on Trends : Keep up with industry trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies to continually enhance our design processes Expectations: Communication skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex design concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders AI Advancements: Ability to keep up with AI advancements in terms of new GenAI products and services Experience : 5+ years of experience in product design, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful design projects across web and mobile applications Skills : Expertise in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar. Proficiency in prototyping tools like InVision, Framer, or similar is a plus User Research : Experience conducting user research, usability testing, and gathering user insights to inform design decisions Collaboration : Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams Problem Solving : Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically about both short-term and long-term design decisions Attention to Detail : A keen eye for aesthetics and detail, ensuring pixel-perfect design execution Education : Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction (HCI), or a related field, or equivalent experience Good to have skills: Knowledge of accessibility standards and best practices Experience with motion design and animation Basic understanding of User Research methodologies Design Degree (Visual communication, Graphic Design, Interaction Design or Human-Computer Interaction or Anthropology) would be a plus Participate in the enrichment of the design community within and outside of smartSense Experience: Overall 6+ years of relevant experience working as a Product Designer with strong visual design skills with a keen eye for detailing
