Location: Remote at Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida or Faridabad with frequent local travel to Delhi markets, Our factories & to our Senior Head of Product Development at Gurgaon and work along with junior designers.

Overview:

Nesavaali, a designer luxury brand, is seeking a Junior Sourcing Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for design aesthetics, a deep understanding of fabric quality, and strong negotiation skills. This role involves sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories -including bags and jewelry from various markets, both locally and internationally. The candidate must be organized, adaptable, and capable of handling multiple tasks efficiently.


Key Responsibilities:


Sourcing Materials: Identify and procure high-quality fabrics, trims, and accessories that align with Nesavaali's design and brand aesthetic.

Vendor Management: Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors, ensuring timely delivery and quality standards.

Market Research: Conduct thorough research on local and international markets to find the best materials and accessories.

Negotiation: Effectively negotiate prices and terms with vendors to secure the best deals without compromising on quality.

Quality Control: Assess fabric quality, fall, fit, and suitability for various styles to ensure they meet the brand’s standards.

Organization: Maintain a well-organized inventory of sourced materials and track orders, deliveries, and payments.

Communication: Manage communication with vendors who speak different languages, primarily via WhatsApp and other messaging platforms.

Travel: Regularly visit local fabric and trim markets in Delhi, Noida, Gurgaon, and surrounding areas. Travel efficiently using a two-wheeler or local public transport.

Collaboration: Work closely with the Head of Product Development and follow detailed instructions to meet the brand’s needs.


Qualifications:


Minimum of 2 years of experience in sourcing fabrics, trims, and accessories.

Strong design sense and understanding of the brand's aesthetic.

Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.

Calm and composed under pressure, with strong problem-solving skills.

Proficient in negotiating and communicating with vendors.

Ability to search and source materials from international vendors.

Willingness to travel locally as required.

Familiarity with the local fabric and trims markets in Delhi and surrounding areas.

Must be able to work remotely and manage time effectively.
