Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Junior Merchandiser at SAKU located in Gurugram.

The Junior Merchandiser will be responsible for various tasks including inventory management, product selection & development, visual merchandising, customer service, and sales support.

Additionally, the Junior Merchandiser will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effectiveness of SAKU's merchandising strategies and initiatives.


Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of various fabrics, trims and accessories and their suppliers
  • Knowledge of both weave and knits is a plus
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Demonstrated buying experience
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service mindset
  • Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Relevant degree or certification in Merchandising, Retail Management, or a related field
