Overview: The ServiceNow Developer plays a crucial role in the organization by designing developing and implementing ServiceNow solutions to meet business needs. They are responsible for customizing and enhancing ServiceNow applications and ensuring seamless integration with existing systems. This role is essential in optimizing business processes and improving overall efficiency through the ServiceNow platform.Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and design solutions within the ServiceNow platform
  • Develop custom applications in ServiceNow to meet specific business needs
  • Configure and customize ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management Change Management and Problem Management
  • Implement and maintain ServiceNow integrations with thirdparty systems
  • Create and maintain system and application documentation
  • Provide technical expertise in identifying evaluating and developing solutions that meet user requirements
  • Participate in Agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning and review sessions
  • Develop and maintain ServiceNow workflows forms and reports
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to ensure effective ServiceNow implementation and integration
  • Conduct testing debugging and troubleshooting of ServiceNow applications
  • Train and support end users on ServiceNow functionalities and best practices
  • Keep uptodate with ServiceNow best practices and new features
  • Assist in the implementation of Service Portal and other user interfaces
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of ServiceNow platform capabilities
  • Monitor and optimize ServiceNow performance
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification
  • Minimum of X years of experience in ServiceNow development and implementation
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript HTML and CSS for ServiceNow customization
  • Experience in IT Service Management (ITSM) processes and best practices
  • Proficiency in configuring and managing the CMDB within ServiceNow
  • Proven experience in ServiceNow integration with external systems and applications
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile environments
  • Proficiency in SQL and database management for ServiceNow
  • Excellent problemsolving and analytical abilities
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Experience in developing and implementing Service Portal or other user interfaces is a plus
  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) certification is a plus
  • Experience in performance tuning and optimization of ServiceNow implementations is a plus
