Purpose of the role
- Triveni is looking for a dynamic service professional to carryout gears and gearbox installation, commissioning, overhauling, troubleshooting and any other activity pertaining to presales field related work both domestic &global sites as per the contractual obligations. - He will be responsible for timely reporting to site, execution of job, meeting contractual obligations and to generate service revenue on field service activities. - Additional responsibility of generating business leads and enquiries for spares / services, refurbishments, AMCs & ARCs rests with him.
Key Responsibilities:
- Study the scope of work / technical document / drawing, generate service order in SAP co-ordinate with customer for manpower / tools requirement during the site visit. - Collaborate with relevant team to identify probable areas of problem and finalise way forward and carryout required checks/ trials at site. - During service & trouble shooting, follow set procedures / guidelines based on equipment configuration and application. Carryout alignment of drive and driven equipment during installation & commissioning. - Generate report and collect information as per prescribed format pertaining to other make gears / gearboxes during the site visit and collect contact details of nearby sites which has gearbox installations. - Generate business leads / service / spare enquiry for existing / other make gearboxes. - Shutdown tracking of sites. - Signing of MOM (Minutes of meeting) and record all assembly parameters with alignment readings. - Generate service report and service invoice.
Metrics:
- Installation, commissioning and troubleshooting on time. - Customer satisfaction on service rendered. - Root cause and process improvement implementation. - Shutdown tracking and market information no’s. - No of enquiry generated.
Personality traits / Competencies:
- Strong written and spoken English. - Ability to understand and communicate in Hindi is a must. - Require inter-personal and communication skills. - Strong work ethic, high energy level, motivation and enthusiasm - Good technical and troubleshooting knowledge. - Good in analytical capability - Good in managing resources and high in practical creativity.
Job Specifications/Profile:
- BE / B.Tech in Mechanical. - Should have 2-3 years of experience in handling rotary equipments (Pump, Blower, Turbine & Compressors ) in capital goods industry. - Ready to travel for long duration on short notice. - Conversant with MS-Office & SAP.
