Job Overview:We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven individual to join our team as a Retail Merchandiser. You will beresponsible for developing and implementing merchandising strategies, managing relationships with retail partners,and driving business growth for our brand as well as our clients. An Ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of the retail industry, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and a passion for building successful partnerships
Responsibilities:● Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximise sales and profitability for our clients.● Identify and evaluate potential retail partners for our clients, negotiate contracts, and establish mutuallybeneficial relationships.● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute product launches, promotions, and marketingcampaigns.● Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to identify opportunities for businessgrowth.● Analyse sales data, monitor inventory levels, and make recommendations for replenishment and productassortment optimization.● Build strong relationships with retail partners, addressing any issues or concerns and ensuring customersatisfaction.● Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities formanagement review.● Collaborate with the marketing and social media team to develop effective retail marketing materials andpromotional initiatives.
Qualifications:● Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, fashion or a related field.● Prior experience working with Indian retail brands or in the fashion/apparel industry.● Familiarity with merchandising software and tools for inventory management and sales analysis.● In-depth knowledge of the retail industry, including trends, consumer behaviour, and competitor analysis.● Strong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships withretail partners.● Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret sales data and market research.● Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.● Self-motivated and goal-oriented, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.● Proficiency in MS Office applications, specially Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.● Knowledge of e-commerce and online retail platforms.
