Key Responsibilities: Revenue Cycle Management:
Manage all stages of the revenue cycle, including patient registration, insurance verification, medical billing, coding, claims submission, and payment collection.
Claims Processing:
Ensure timely and accurate submission of claims, and resolve any denials or rejections. Work closely with insurance companies to address issues and ensure optimal collections.
Process Optimization:
Identify opportunities to streamline billing and claims processes, reduce errors, and increase cash flow. Continuously implement best practices in revenue cycle management.
Team Leadership:
Lead and mentor a team of billing and coding professionals. Provide ongoing training and support to ensure the team meets performance and quality benchmarks.
Regulatory Compliance:
Ensure that all billing practices comply with local and international regulations, including payer requirements. Maintain high standards for data privacy and security.
Financial Analysis:
Generate and review regular financial reports on revenue cycle performance, including accounts receivable, denial rates, and collections. Present findings and recommendations to management.
Technology Integration:
Collaborate with the IT team to ensure optimal use of revenue cycle management software. Stay updated on technology improvements and recommend system enhancements when necessary.
Customer Communication:
Manage patient billing inquiries and disputes. Ensure a clear, accurate, and patient-friendly billing experience.
Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in revenue cycle management or medical billing.
Strong understanding of healthcare billing processes, insurance guidelines, and revenue cycle management.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with billing and claims management software.
