Talasha has been mandated to hire a

Head of Accounts & Finance

for India's leading legacy tissue & allied products brand. The brand was started in 1995 & has today grown to become the leading producer of paper disposables in India, being the most preferred brand in retail markets across channels of general & modern trade

Responsibilities -Accounting & Book keeping -Lead & manage the accounting department, ensure an efficient book keeping process & adherence to the principles of accountsTaxation & Compliance - Handle Income tax, GST, TDS, etc - including calculations, filing of returns, coordination with tax authorities for assessments & appeals, etcTreasury Management - Oversee cash flows, strategize fund allocation & credit lines and ensure maintenance of optimal working capitalFinancial Planning & Analysis- prepare annual budgets and forecasts, update them as necessary & implement financial strategies to achieve organisation's financial goalsFinancial Reporting -Prepare monthly management reports and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders, create MIS, Assist in preparing documents for financing or loan-related activities, etcAudit & Finalisation of Books - Coordinate with auditors for statutory, tax, and GST audits & ensure timely finalisation of financial statements (balance sheets, trial balances, profit & loss statements, annexures etc)Cross functional collaboration -Work with departmental heads across the business in supporting their financial activities, guiding them through financial process, and interpreting the progress

Good to Have-15 years of experience in Accounts, Taxation, Treasury Management & AuditCost Accountant or Semi qualified Chartered Accountant preferredExperience heading Finance for manufacturing entities with multiple plants & sales offices, with a turnover exceeding rupees hundred crores

Location -BangaloreCTC - Rs. 30-40 Lakhs (Basis last drawn)
