Responsibilities of Snowflake DataEngineer
- We are lookingfor a savvy Data Engineer to join our growing team of analyticsexperts.
- The hire will be responsible forexpanding and optimizing our data and data pipeline architecture aswell as optimizing data flow and collection for cross functionalteams.
- The ideal candidate is an experienceddata pipeline builder and data wrangler who enjoys optimizing datasystems and building them from the ground up.
- The Data Engineer will support our software developersdatabase architects data analysts and data scientists on datainitiatives and will ensure optimal data delivery architecture isconsistent throughout ongoing projects.
- Theymust be selfdirected and comfortable supporting the data needs ofmultiple teams systems and products.
- Theright candidate willbe excited by the prospect of optimizing oreven redesigning our companys data architecture to support our nextgeneration of products and data initiatives.
Requirements for DataEngineer
- SQL Python Snowflake Data Modelling ETLSnowpark
- Proficiency in crafting andoptimizing complex SQL queries and Stored Procedures for datatransformation aggregation and analysis within the Snowflakeplatform.
- Experience with Snowflake clouddata warehousing service including data loading querying andadministration.
- Ability to design andimplement data models applying both relational and dimensionalmodelling techniques within Snowflake.
- Indepth understanding of ETL processes and methodologies leveragingSnowflakes capabilities.
- Familiarity withDBT (Data Build Tool) for data transformation and modelling withinSnowflake.
- Expertise in integratingSnowflake with AWS S3 storage for data storage and retrieval.
- Proficiency in Snowpark enabling dataprocessing using Snowflakes native programming language.
- Skill in API integration specificallyintegrating Snowflake with AWS Lambda for data workflows.
- Adeptness in version control using GitHubfor collaborative code management.
- Adeptnessin troubleshooting datarelated issues within the Snowflakeecosystem ensuring data quality and consistency.
- Skill in creating clear and concise technicaldocumentation facilitating communication and knowledge sharing.
- Designing efficient and wellstructured dataschemas within Snowflake.
- UtilizingSnowflakes features for data warehousing scalability andperformance optimization.
- Leveraging Pythonprogramming for data processing manipulation and analysis in aSnowflake environment.
- Implementing dataintegration and transformation workflows using DBT.
- Writing and maintaining scripts for data movement andprocessing using cloud integration.
