The role involves data engineering, data processing and analyzing data to support the development and successful delivery of diverse transformation projects and initiatives aligned to the business objectives. It requires the individual to have strong analytical skills, proficiency in data tools, and the ability to communicate with leadership teams with different business units in the firm.The position will support the Head of Process Excellence team to drive and identify the opportunity, design and activate the solutions for execution through connecting with key stakeholders in MGS/MUFG.Roles and Responsibilities:Proficiency in Data Analysis Tools: Strong command of tools like SQL, and programming skills like Python or R for data manipulation and analysis.Proficiency in Process Automation Tools: Strong command of tools like Power Automate, Power Apps, SharePoint to develop end to end workflows and drive process automation.Statistical Knowledge: Understanding of statistical methods and their application to analyze data accurately.Data Engineering: Ability to process, transform, and validate data for accuracy and consistency.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in analyzing and interpreting data.Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to apply critical thinking to derive actionable insights from complex datasets. Conduct root cause analysis to identify underlying issues, analyze data to identify trends and areas of improvements and develop data driven solutions.Communication Skills: Strong ability to convey data findings clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Project Management: Capability to initiate plan, execute, monitor, control and deliver multiple cross-business projects concurrently, working with multiple project teams.
