Job Summary

As the GM/Sr GM/AVP Operations at Autopilot Offices (Work Square), you will lead our operations team, overseeing the delivery of high-quality managed office spaces. This role requires a strategic leader with expertise in 
soft services

technical operations
, and 
project management
. The GM - Operations will ensure seamless operations, exceptional client service, and efficient project execution across our office locations in India.

Key Responsibilities

Soft Services Management:

  • Oversee the delivery of soft services, including housekeeping, security, front office, and hospitality.
  • Develop and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) for client-facing and back-of-house services.
  • Ensure exceptional cleanliness, safety, and comfort for clients and their employees.

Technical Operations:

  • Manage the technical operations for Work Square offices, covering HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and other facility systems.
  • Implement preventive and corrective maintenance programs to ensure uninterrupted office operations.
  • Work closely with technical vendors to ensure compliance with quality standards and minimize downtime.

Project Management:

  • Lead end-to-end project management for new office setup, renovation, or expansion projects.
  • Collaborate with design and build teams to deliver tailor-made office spaces on schedule and within budget.
  • Monitor project milestones, conduct quality checks, and ensure adherence to client specifications and Work Square standards.

Client Relationship and Stakeholder Management:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and addressing their operational needs.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including vendors, contractors, and service providers.
  • Regularly assess and act on client feedback to improve services continuously.

Operational Efficiency and Excellence:

  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize resource utilization, cost management, and service delivery.
  • Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and KPIs for the operations department.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.

Team Leadership and Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and client-centricity.
  • Implement training and development programs to enhance team skills in soft services, technical operations, and project management.

Qualifications:

  • Education:
     Bachelors degree in Facilities Management, Operations Management, Engineering, or a related field. MBA or advanced degree is a plus.
  • Experience:
     10+ years in operations management with a strong track record in soft services, technical operations, and project management.

  • Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage large, complex projects and operations.
  • Excellent client relationship management and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to managing challenges.
  • Leadership skills with experience in team management and development.
  • Technical Proficiency:
     Familiarity with industry-standard software for facilities and project management; proficiency in MS Office.
