Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer to join our Salesforce marketing cloud technology team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and implementing Marketing Cloud solutions to support our digital marketing strategies, campaign automation, and customer journeys. You will collaborate with marketing, data, and IT teams to build personalized, data-driven communications that enhance customer engagement and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and deploy campaigns using Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Mobile Studio, and Advertising Studio.
  • Write and optimize AMPscript, SSJS (Server-Side JavaScript), and SQL queries for dynamic content, personalization, and segmentation.
  • Integrate SFMC with Salesforce CRM and third-party systems using APIs and Connectors.
  • Manage subscriber data and implement data extensions, audience segmentation, and marketing automation strategies.
  • Collaborate with marketing stakeholders to understand campaign requirements and translate them into scalable technical solutions.
  • Monitor campaign performance and troubleshoot technical issues.
  • Implement and enforce best practices related to email deliverability, CAN-SPAM compliance, and data privacy.
  • Document technical specifications, workflows, and development processes.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 4+ years of hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud.
  • Proficiency in AMPscript, SSJS, SQL, and HTML/CSS for email development.
  • Experience with Journey Builder, Automation Studio, and Email Studio.
  • Strong understanding of relational databases and data architecture within Marketing Cloud.
  • Experience integrating Marketing Cloud with Salesforce CRM and external platforms using REST/SOAP APIs.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into simple business terms.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification.
  • Experience with CDP (Customer Data Platform), Datorama, or Interaction Studio.
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and tools like Jira or Confluence.
  • Knowledge of marketing analytics and KPIs.
