Job Description

Position: Business Development Manager
Salary Package (CTC/year): (INR 4L - 10L)
Location: Velechery, Chennai - 600042
Skills: Project Forwarding, General Forwarding, Strong Communication Skills (English, Tamil) & Latest AI applications
Minimum Experience: 3+ years

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to expand our client base and increase revenue within the project forwarding industry such as breakbulk, RORO, Heavy transportation, Cross Trade & General Freight Forwarding (Contract Management).

  • Handle key customer ongoing business, Identify and prioritize new key accounts based on their project needs, industry focus, and revenue potential.

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and industry influencers, to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and establish strategic partnerships.


Requirements

Proven track record with at least 3+ years of experience in sales & business developments profile.
Excellent communication skills to interact with clients effectively and internal teams.
Proficiency in software and tools, including familiarity with CRM systems.
Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset to address client challenges effectively

Requirements
· Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a related field. · Proven track record with at least 3+ years of experience in logistics and sales, preferably in a key account management role. · Excellent communication and negotiation skills to effectively interact with clients and internal teams. · Proficiency in logistics software and tools, including familiarity with supply chain management systems. · Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused mindset to address client challenges effectively
