Role Overview : We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Manager – Corporate Relations to grow IIT Bombay’s executive education and certificate programs through s trategic partnerships and industry engagement. This role requires someone who can balance short-term results with long-term relationship building while positioning IITB as a trusted partner in executive learning. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategies to establish new corporate partnerships for executive education and training programs. Generate leads, conduct client meetings, and achieve revenue targets. Build and maintain a strong pipeline of corporate clients and continuously explore new business opportunities. Identify, pitch, and close B2 B opportunities for customized learning solutions, certificate programs, and executive development courses. Manage end-to-end business development lifecycle, from prospecting to closure and account growth. Work closely with academic and program teams to align offerings with industry requirements. Ensure revenue generation through effective negotiations, client retention, and repeat engagements. Track, analyze, and report on business development performance metrics. Should be a multi-tasker and can manage both B2 B & B2 C in case of CEP courses Desired Experience/Skills : Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, IT, or a related field. At least 5 years of experience in Business Development, Corporate Relations, or Strategic Partnerships, preferably in the Ed Tech / Executive Education sector. Proven track record of revenue generation and B2 B client conversions. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders. Strong negotiation and relationship management abilities. Positive, proactive approach with a problem-solving mindset.
