Company Description The Fresh Factory began in 2019 with a simple but powerful intention - to clean up the way we eat. The Fresh Factory, an ingredient forward cafe cum retail store is starting soon in Bangalore. We work closely with ethical farmers, small-scale producers, and honest manufacturers who care as deeply about the ingredients as we do. Our food is globally inspired, and locally rooted. At the heart of it all is a belief: people deserve to know what they're eating and where it comes from. Key Responsibilities: 1. Daily Kitchen Leadership Lead and manage BOH operations. Ensure SOPs, recipes, and service protocols are followed without compromise. 2. Consistency & Operational Excellence Train and upskill kitchen staff to ensure consistent performance across shifts. Oversee prep management, station efficiency, and inventory tracking. Conduct regular taste checks and audits to maintain excellence. 3. Ongoing Menu Execution & Support in R&D Execute seasonal menus developed with the Head Chef. Stay aligned with market trends and customer preferences. 4. Ingredient Responsibility Work closely with StockRoom to manage incoming produce and pantry items. Minimize wastage and optimize ingredient use without compromising on quality. 5. Team Building & People Development Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new kitchen team members. Cultivate a strong kitchen culture - grounded in respect, professionalism, and creativity. 6. Cost & Inventory Management Monitor food costs, yields, and wastage in collaboration with the finance and procurement teams. Help design systems that support both profitability and product integrity. You're a Great Fit If You Have: 5-8 years of experience in creative kitchens, with a strong command over continental & global cuisine. A passion for ingredient-led cooking and clean, honest food. Experience in standalone brands or modern cafés - not just hotels. Solid leadership and communication skills in a kitchen environment. A proactive mindset and readiness to help shape a new outlet from scratch. Previous travel experience or exposure to global food cultures is a bonus. Why Join Us?
