Role Summary:  

We are currently looking for an accomplished professional who has deep understanding of diverse financial instruments, preferably sustainability linked. Should have experience in M&A deals with in-depth risk and reward analysis, negotiation and influence skills. 

 

Key Tasks and Accountability:  

· Conduct comprehensive analyses of asset classes, including but not limited to equities, fixed income, real estate, and commodities, to identify opportunities and risks associated with climate and incorporate them into the valuation models. 

· Play a crucial role in structuring the commercial deals that support sustainable investment initiatives and drive long term value creation. 

· Conduct thorough research and analysis as per the requirements. 

· Collaborate with cross functional teams to integrate climate risks and core energy sector knowledge into investment decision-making processes. 

· Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to gather relevant data. 

· Stay abreast of emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainable finance/investments. 

 

Educational & Experience:  

· Advanced degree in Finance, Economics or a related field. 

· Deep understanding of asset classes, financial markets, sustainability linked funds and investment vehicles. 

· Proven experience in asset classes, and commercial deal constructions in energy sector. 

· Understanding of climate-related financial risks and experience in incorporating energy industry nuances into financial modelling and investment decisions. 

· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 

· Effective communication and interpersonal skills. 

· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. 

· CA, CFA, FRM Certification is preferable. 

Work experience with investment banking, financial valuation of Corporates for funding is a big plus. 

Only people with knowledge and experience of financially structuring or leading the M&A deals need to apply.
