We are seeking to onboard Indirect Tax professionals with around 2-4 years of experience in client advisory and litigation. The key responsibilities for this role include:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strong analytical skills, including the ability to conduct research using legal databases.
  • Knowledge of case laws within the relevant legal framework, staying informed about regulatory updates, and understanding their impact on assigned clients.
  • Proficiency in English and excellent drafting skills and disseminating updates on the latest trends to the team.
  • Quick research to develop a theoretical understanding of laws and acts.

Required Skillset:

  • Clients on various aspects of GST (must) and Customs, State Excise, SEZ laws (preferred).
  • Litigation and investigation assignments, including drafting replies, appeals, and briefing counsels and senior counsels.

  • Agility: Demonstrates a willingness to acquire knowledge of the latest trends in the indirect tax space.
  • Centricity: Prioritizes meeting clients' expectations by balancing quality and timeliness.

  • Effectiveness: Plans own work, identifies resources, and manages timelines effectively.
  • Presentation Skills: Creates client presentations using various communication delivery methods (e.g., written, electronic, oral, interpersonal).
