Role Overview

The FP&A professional at UDS will play a critical role in the financial health and strategic decision-making processes of the organization. This individual will lead financial planning and analysis initiatives, develop financial models, and provide insights to support the companys growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Strategy & Planning: Develop, implement, and oversee financial plans and strategies, ensuring alignment with the companys overall business objectives.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Drive the annual budgeting process, perform periodic forecasts, and provide insights into variances to assist management in financial decision-making.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze financial data, trends, and performance metrics to generate monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for senior leadership.
  • Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with departmental heads to gather relevant data, offer financial insights, and contribute to key business decisions.
  • Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain robust financial models to support planning, forecasting, and scenario analysis.
  • Risk Management: Identify and evaluate financial risks, ensuring that mitigation plans are in place.
  • Process Improvement: Evaluate current financial processes, recommending and implementing improvements for greater efficiency and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and mentor junior members of the FP&A team to ensure continuous growth and optimal performance.

Required Skills and Competencies

  • Maintaining and controlling the books of accts like Trial balance, P&L A/c & Balance Sheet.
  • Implementing systems, procedures & manuals to prepare and maintain statutory books of accounts &

financial statements, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.

  • Formulating budgets as well as conducting variance analysis to determine difference between projected & actual results and implementing corrective actions for the same.
  • Computing & arranging deposit of Sales Tax, Service Tax, GST, Income Tax and TDS as well as filing returns for timely completion of assessment as per regulatory norms
  • Preparing MIS reports in UDS Group level to provide feedback to top officials on financial performance, viz. monthly profitability and age-wise analysis of debtors as per requirement of management,
  • Maintaining the Intercompany, Inter plant and branch accounts
  • Comparison Budgeted and Actuals on monthly basis
  • Attending to statutory audits and evaluating internal control systems with a view to highlight shortcomings & implementing recommendations made by Internal Auditors.
