Jira Administrator will report to Line Manager.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced and accomplished Senior Lead Business Analyst to spearhead requirements gathering, process mapping, and solution design for complex business initiatives. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader with a deep understanding of business analysis principles, exceptional stakeholder management skills, and proven, hands-on expertise in using Jira to manage the full project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Analysis Leadership

• Lead and manage all business analysis activities across multiple, concurrent projects.
• Facilitate and orchestrate requirements workshops, stakeholder interviews, and discovery sessions.
• Translate high-level business needs into detailed functional and non-functional requirements.
• Develop and document user stories, acceptance criteria, and use cases to a high standard of quality.

Jira Management & Usage

• Create, maintain, and oversee
  Jira
  projects, boards, epics, stories, and tasks.
• Ensure that backlog grooming, sprint planning, and workflow management adhere to Agile best practices.
• Generate and analyze
  Jira
  reports to monitor project progress, identify dependencies, and mitigate risks.
• Collaborate with
  Jira
  administrators to implement configuration changes as needed.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Serve as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams.
• Effectively manage stakeholder expectations, prioritize requirements, and ensure alignment with strategic business objectives.

Process Improvement

• Identify and analyze process inefficiencies, proposing practical and technology-enabled solutions.
• Champion the adoption of Agile methodologies and continuous improvement initiatives throughout the organization.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience
  : A minimum of 8 years in a business analysis role, with at least 2 years in a senior or lead capacity.
• Jira Expertise
  : Demonstrated proficiency in creating, managing, and tracking work within
  Jira
  . Must be comfortable with
  Jira
  dashboards, filters, and advanced searches (JQL).
• Methodologies
  : A strong and practical understanding of Agile/Scrum and SDLC processes.
• Technical Skills
  : An ability to understand API integrations, data flows, and system dependencies is a plus.
• Soft Skills
  : Superior communication, stakeholder management, problem-solving, and leadership abilities.
• Domain Knowledge
  : Experience across multiple business domains.

Desired Qualifications

• Exposure to
  Jira
  administration or advanced configuration.
• Familiarity with other Atlassian tools such as Confluence or Bitbucket.
• Experience with business process modeling (e.g., BPMN, UML).
• Relevant professional certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA).
