Position: DGM - Accounts

Location: Hyderabad

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced in CA from pharmaceutical manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial reporting, compliance, and accounting functions of the organisation, ensuring adherence to GAAP, IND AS , and annual compliance requirements. A mandatory requirement for this role is a Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification along with expertise in SAP S4HANA and SAP FICO modules. The candidate must also have a background in pharmaceutical manufacturing.

Responsibilities: 

Final responsibility for financial reporting and compliance, including the preparation of financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to regulatory standards. Oversight of the completeness and accuracy of the company's books of account, ensuring meticulous record-keeping. Ensure data completeness and accuracy related to FICO and MM modules of SAP S4HANA. Review and monitoring of capital expenditure proposals, tracking project progress and expenditures, and ensuring timely capitalization of assets. Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register. Presentation of Management Information System (MIS) in monthly meetings, including designing MIS and verifying MIS prepared by the Accounts Team. Oversight of financial controls and responsibility for Internal Financial Controls (IFC). Direct tax compliance and reporting responsibility, ensuring accuracy and completeness in adherence to tax laws. Facilitate knowledge sharing with the Accounts and Direct Taxation teams. Interaction and reconciliation of data with Company Secretary, Cost Accountants, and Plant-level functional teams, including GST-related matters. SAP data capturing and customization of reports, with final approval regarding related modules. Interaction with consultants involved in taxation, compliance, and accounting areas.

Qualifications and Skills:

Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory. Extensive experience and expertise in SAP S4HANA and SAP FICO modules. Prior experience in the pharmaceutical manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Strong understanding of financial reporting standards and compliance requirements. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal abilities. Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
