Position Overview:

We are seeking highly accomplished IT Infra, Operation, ITSM Lead who can be the part of the GEDU IT Infra & Operation Team at GEDU. The person should preferably have worked as Infra, Operation and Network support lead including Azure, Office365. He/she should be driven by business needs, should be a great user advocate, should have good communication skills and ability to inspire people at all levels to follow your customer intimacy.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of IT support technicians and engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure the timely resolution of technical issues and adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).

• Implement and maintain IT service management best practices, including incident management, problem management, change management, and service request management processes.

• Develop and maintain ITSM documentation, including standard operating procedures (SOPs), knowledge base articles, and system documentation.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement improvements to our IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, networks, and security systems.

• Monitor the performance and availability of IT systems and infrastructure components, proactively identifying and addressing potential issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.

• Manage relationships with third-party vendors and service providers, ensuring compliance with contracts and SLAs and resolving any issues or escalations in a timely manner.

• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in ITSM and infrastructure management, recommending and implementing new technologies and processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

• Develop and implement IT infrastructure strategies, standards, and best practices to ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.

• Plan and oversee the deployment of new IT infrastructure projects, including hardware and software upgrades, network expansions, and data center migrations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, define technical solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Monitor and analyze IT infrastructure performance, capacity, and availability metrics, and implement proactive measures to prevent downtime and performance issues.

• Establish and enforce IT security policies, procedures, and controls to protect the organization's data and systems from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the IT operations team, including mentoring and training team members to enhance their skills and knowledge.

• Manage vendor relationships and service contracts related to IT infrastructure and operations, ensuring compliance with SLAs and budgetary constraints.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to IT infrastructure architecture, configurations, and procedures.


Qualifications:

• Overall experience 05-07 Years

• 3+ years of experience in a service industry Educational

• BE/B.Tech/HW & Networking Diploma/MBA or Graduate with relevant experience

• ITIL Certification

• Azure Certification

• CCNA & CCNP Certification

• PMP Certification (Optional)

• Excellent understanding of the AZURE AD, AVIXA Standard, Intune, EDR & XDR.

• Proficient with MS Office Suite ( specially MS xlsx, MS Doc and MS ppt, Visio)

• Good decision-making considering the criticality of needs and trade-offs.

• Practical experience with Active Networking Configuration, Setup and Operational Support CCNA & Arista Certification.

• Strong knowledge of Active Directory, Intune, Multi-Tenant Migration & Support.

• Ability to prioritise the Infrastructure & Operation deployment and Support.

• Excellent understanding of the principles of Active, Passive Networking, DC and Educational AV Requirements

• Excellent communication, both written and spoken, for collaborating with different teams

• Work well in small and huge teams

• Knowledge of design ISMS & ISO guidelines.

• Technical background with knowledge of Active Networking, Domain, Windows Server and Cloud technologies

• Good organisational skills

• Creative and innovative thinking

• Passionate about providing intuitive and excellent user experience.

• Good team player

• Prior experience of working with Global clients Nice to have Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Diploma, Information Technology, or a related field;
