Job Overview We are seeking a Compliance Manager to join our Cheran Group Of Companies team in Coimbatore. This full-time, senior-level position requires a professional with 7 to 10 years of relevant experience. The Compliance Manager will oversee regulatory compliance, ensuring adherence to internal policies and external regulations. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in risk management, AML/CFT, and stakeholder engagement. Qualifications and Skills Proven expertise in risk management and ability to identify potential compliance risks within a dynamic education-related environment. In-depth understanding of regulatory compliance, specifically in educational and institutional contexts. Comprehensive knowledge of AML and CFT practices, ensuring adherence to financial crime regulation standards. Strong skills in policy development, capable of crafting clear and practical institutional compliance policies. Experience in internal auditing, evaluating effectiveness of established compliance measures and protocols. Demonstrated competence in compliance monitoring, overseeing the implementation of regulatory requirements. Familiarity with data privacy laws to ensure the security of student and institutional data. Proficiency in stakeholder engagement, fostering collaborative relationships internally and with external partners. Roles and Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain an effective compliance program that aligns with institutional strategies and goals. Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal policies and regulatory standards. Provide expert advice on compliance and regulatory matters, ensuring risk management strategies are robust. Design and deliver training programs to educate staff on compliance policies and legal obligations. Monitor and report on the effectiveness of compliance efforts and suggest areas for improvement. Collaborate with legal counsel and regulatory bodies to ensure all procedures and practices meet industry regulations. Analyze new regulations and legislation to determine institutional impact and necessary actions. Lead initiatives for data privacy compliance, maintaining confidentiality and integrity of institutional data.
