Job Title: Backend Engineer

(Python/Django/DRF)

Reports to: Chief Technology Officer (CTO)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, build, and maintain scalable and secure backend services using Python,

Django, and DRF.

  • Develop and optimize RESTful APIs for web and mobile clients.

  • Collaborate with frontend engineers, product managers, and QA to define technical

requirements.

  • Write clean, reusable, and testable code following best practices.

  • Implement and maintain database schemas, queries, and migrations.

  • Ensure application performance, reliability, and security.

  • Conduct code reviews, provide feedback, and mentor junior developers.

  • Integrate third-party APIs and services when needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Required skills & Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computers or higher.

  • 4–6 years of backend development experience.

  • Strong proficiency in Python.

  • Hands-on experience with Django and Django Rest Framework (DRF).

  • Solid understanding of RESTful API design and best practices.

  • Proficiency in working with relational databases (PostgreSQL/MySQL).

  • Experience with Git and collaborative workflows (branching, PR reviews).

  • Knowledge of unit testing frameworks (PyTest, Unittest).

  • Understanding of security best practices in backend development.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience with asynchronous frameworks (Celery, Django Channels, FastAPI).

  • Familiarity with NoSQL Databases.

  • Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure). -Knowledge of microservices

architecture.

  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹1,500, ₹2,250,000.00 per year
